I enjoyed this interview with Johnathon of Thumbtack. When he was talking about loving the business model generation/revision process it made me think of a book I came across recently that might be helpful as for playing around with new business models. It’s called Business Model Generation.

I have no affiliation with them or their book but I did integrate some of their content into a course on E-commerce I recently develop. Nice interview. Good luck to Thumbtack as they’re getting traction with their new venture.

Loved the interview. Can’t wait for Thumbtack to reach Rome,…Rome, Georgia, that is. BTW – I wish you were still in politics. That would mean there would be someone different in the White House. Lol.

Excellent interview! I really understand now how Thumbtack is different from existing services and goes so far beyond Craiglist, etc. Great story on how Thumbtack was founded, too. I wish you guys all the best.

Interesting to see what you’re up to these days, Jonathan. Sounds like you and the others have latched onto a great web idea with lots of potential. Best of luck in growing the business and being successful. Like others, I miss your conservative influence in the White House and in DC. Blessings from an old friend in MN.
